I just got off the phone with Hyundai Customer Service 1-800-633-5151. (This number was sent to me in an email from my dealership following a survey I submitted which indicated my wind noise problem was not resolved following the dealership installing a new window gasket.) The Hyundai CS agent took my basic information including VIN Number and asked me to describe my problem. After that he commented that it was very strange to have this wind noise with no windows open. I commented that it sounded like he hadn't heard of this problem before. He said this is the first he heard of it, to which I commented that it appears to me to be a common problem based on what I have read on several forums as well as dealer comments. He said, "Hmmm, well it's still unusual" and that he will get a case manager assigned to help me get the problem resolved. He said the case manager will research the problem and then contact me with his suggested plan to resolve the problem. So, I have a case number and when I hear something, I will report back here what the plan is.

Update: After further discussions with the dealership, I made another appointment to bring my car in for evaluation. The Hyundai Case Manager had called the service manager at my dealer and confirmed my conversation. I left my car overnight. The next day I was notified that my car was ready for pickup - way too fast. I called and spoke with my service advisor who indicated they test drove my car along with two other new vehicles on the lot and all had the same problem. They notified Hyundai "Tech Line" and after an initial "that's the way it is," the dealership pressed Hyundai for a solution as this condition is unacceptable in their opinion. I was told that I would be contacted within 3 weeks to discuss next steps towards a fix. So, until then...
Hopefully, some of you will push your dealerships to pressure Hyundai to fix this problem as well.

As I have posted before, I believe the humming sound is related to the strength of the wind when driving and the direction of the wind. A service manager taking the car out for a short drive might find the same circumstances and will likely then hear the sound. However, it the driving is done on a non-windy day, there will likely be no humming sound. A possible solution for many of us to try might be to attempt to record the noise on a cell phone. If we can actually illustrate to Hyundai that this noise exists, we might be able to get something done.

I'm not sure what you are referring to regarding humming. The wind noise is clearly wind - as if the window was slightly open. I don't believe the direction of the wind or if there is wind makes any difference what so ever. At 70 mph, there is relative wind moving 70 mph relative to the vehicle. If you stick your hand out the window, you will feel it. I think trying to capture the wind sound with a cell phone may be pretty difficult due to other road noises, but it's worth a try.

I got a call from my Dealership that they have new information from Hyundai regarding the wind noise. The dealer provided no insight into what the fix is, but did say they tried it on one vehicle successfully so far. I am scheduled to take mine in on Friday, so we shall see.

Sorry, I post in several forums and missed updating here.
Got my vehicle back Friday, 10-25-19. The wind noise is noticeably reduced, but not eliminated. I spoke with the Service Manager about the fix but he was reluctant to go into detail explaining that until an Engineering Service Bulletin is released by Hyundai, no official fix is authorized. He said the felt tracks that seal around the window were adjusted to preload against the window. He got a preliminary set of guidelines from Hyundai prior to anything official being released. With this being a brand new model, we are all sort of guinea pigs finding problems and solutions. He indicated they used an instrument that can isolate the location of the sound. He said they probed all around the window while going highway speeds and in various traffic conditions like near a semi, etc. He said there was a noticeable increase in noise as the instrument approached the front of the window near the outside mirrors. The large mirror must be causing significant local turbulence.
I am going to live with this for the meantime. I encourage those of you who still have the problem to work with your dealership to see what information is coming from Hyundai regarding this problem. I think they (Hyundai) is finally starting to pay attention to this issue. Maybe there will be a definitive, reliable fix in the near future.
Update: Since I've had the vehicle back, I've put on about 1,000 miles, most of which are interstate. I continue to hear some wind noise, but not nearly as bad as it was prior to the dealership working on it. Whatever they did was helpful so hopefully that method will be defined in a service bulletin that all dealers will receive.

Thank you for letting us know what you found out. My noise seemed to be coming in from up behind my head and would happen when across wind was hitting the passenger side of the car, and the noise would come in on the passenger side behind the passengers head when a cross wind was hitting the driver side of the car. I never thought about the side mirrors causing the air noise!

I was getting the driver side wind noise in my Limited when driving over 75 mph, especially with a cross wind. The simple fix I found was to ever so slightly lower the driver side window to where its not fully pinched against the top. Its still tight enough to be water proof in the car wash and the wind noise is completely gone. I think the window might be calibrated to tightly against the seal causing the seal to open up a little.

That would drive me crazy if I have to roll up and down the window every time I hear wind noise.

I am getting the humming noise also. By pushing on the top of the inside door panel (pushing outward), it reduces, and at times stops the humming. I also get the wind (pressure woosh, woosh, etc...) noise too. I think it's a combination of several issues and some are getting either or, or both. I am waiting for a fix, but the dealer is going to paint tape the seals to see if it goes away and determine the location.

just got done doing some testing on my own. I noticed that if you had the window down, and then went to close it, when it reached full closed position it shoves the top of the door frame inward about a1/16 to 1/8 of an inch crushing the door seals further. I tried backing down the glass by a quick tap on the down button lowering the glass about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch the humming air noise went away. I think limit switch is set to high causing the glass to ram into the top of the door frame to distort an bow inward causing an air leak!

I also have a slight wind noise that appears to be coming from the driver side door. One thing that I found is that if I set the climate control vent to recirculate, the noise seems to go away. For me, it's just a minor annoyance but I may bring it up on my next service and reference the TSB that Mr68 provided.

Just called my dealership and they told me about the bulletin - asked me where the noise was coming from. Mine is coming from the lower portion near the back pillar of the drivers window.

Mine doesn't match either issue - but they ordered me a new track and hopefully they will be fixing it :)
